The transformation brought forth two expansive decks, each measuring 14’ deep and 41’ long, designed to extend the living space into the outdoors. The upper deck, reserved for adults, is a testament to sophistication and relaxation, complete with outdoor living room furniture and the structural integrity to support a future hot tub. It offers seamless integration with the home’s kitchen and master bedroom, providing a private retreat for entertainment and leisure.

The lower deck, envisioned as a playful area for children, is a shaded alcove that descends to the ground via a grand staircase, which also doubles as a communal space for socializing and dining. This deck fosters a sense of community and enjoyment, perfect for family gatherings. Counter Culture Studio’s innovative approach is further highlighted by the refreshed exterior materials, where the outdated stucco gave way to stylish board and batten, complemented by a new color palette.
